DescriptionBased on Giant-Sized X-men #1I loved the image of the "new team" bursting through the cover with the "old team" looking on One of my fond childhood memories was reading an issue of Little Archie #89 I think it was the only time I ever saw a Little Archie comic on the newstand in my area So as I was talking with Archie artist Craig Boldman, this was an obvious choice. It is part of my commission series of famous covers but using other characters. NEW 3/19/22 -- BONUS ======== I forgot to mention. When I looked at the back of the board, there is the blue pencil drawings that Craig did for the Archie Commemorative USPS Stamps series in 2010 (I believe) . Craig made several sample designs and these are some of those not chosen. Social/Sharing |
