Description

I grew up collecting PRINCE VALIANT -- loved Hal Foster's work!!! Back in 1972 I used my Magnajector to enlarge various panels and ink & color them -- then Tom Yeates began illustrating PRINCE VALIANT -- I contacted Tom when I found out that we both attended Sacramento State College and *we had the same art teacher*! And in 1970 we both attended the same Jimi Hendrix concert that was at the Sacto Fair Grounds!! I was 20 at the time, and Tom was 15... quite a memory seeing Jimi Hendrix, and Tom enjoyed seeing my pics of Hendrix! And I am totally thrilled to see Tom drawing one of my absolute favorite comic strips of all time!
