Bagley's double pagers throughout the series got more bold and complex and toward his initial run. This is at the height of his storytelling powers working with Bendis for over 100 issues!

Outstanding DPS! I have the following two pages (also a DPS) in my gallery and I've been switching back and forth right now, looking at the great storytelling. I've always really loved Hennessy's inks on Bagley - they're so luscious, and add lots of fine detail to the fluid, cartoony awesomeness that is Bagley's style - and they particularly shine in situations or locations like this one (with lots of shadows and broken gear).
Mr. Bagley had told me one time that he had based the look of the Oz-infected MJ on a stupid rat creature from 'Bone', and that just makes me soooooo happy. GREAT spread, Ernest! Congrats!

Just love that "Bone" story, and to have it confirmed by Mr Bagley himself...SWEET. That's a hell of a story. Never noticed it until you mentioned it. Took a stroll through your gallery...some unbelievable pieces. Especially fond if that Dell'otto dps...gorgeously detailed. Hats off to you, sir
