Description

Andrew Sheppard is my "go to" artist whenever I have a specific image in my mind. In this piece I wanted to highlight extremes of good and evil. It was easy coming up with a street scene that looked like hell, but coming up with a juxtaposition image of heaven was a bit tricky. The vehicle interior had to be immaculate and pleasing to the eye, but that wasn't enough.

Then I recalled a popular automobile novelty of the 1950s: THE DASHBOARD JESUS!

I keep meaning to post..this is a fabulous piece and inspired me to get an Andrew Sheppard Invaders painting. Andrew is AMAZING and this is a gorgeous piece of art. I love the theme!
