Description

This is a 9" x 12" ink and marker sketch of Captain America as "The Captain" by Joseph Michael Linsner dated 1988. The Captain storyline appearing in issues 332-350 was the first Captain America run that I read and has a special feeling of nostalgia for me. This sketch was drawn during the time of that storyline and before Linsner's self-published Cry for Dawn comic.

Nice and lean figurework! His control of coloring was very advanced for the time period when color pieces weren't common.
