Description

A fun and zany page from a promo comic on Chicago's experimental Organic Theatre. I really enjoy Staton's cartoony art here showcasing Organic founder Stuart Gordon as a mad scientist type leading a tour for some stranded theatre visitors.

Gordon of course would go on to have a hand in such hit movies as Re-Animator and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and its sequels. Page is signed Kuppenberg who also wrote the script. On his blog Kuppenberg talks about how this 16-page comic went out to Organic subscribers and was included as a bonus with Chicago's alternative paper, the Reader.
