Description

The Aristocats Thomas O'Malley Production Cel Signed by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston (Walt Disney, 1970).
Alley cat Thomas O'Malley finds himself in the company of graceful cat Duchess and her three adorable kittens in the 1970 Walt Disney Feature Film The Aristocats.
After the high-class cats are abandoned far away from home by scheming butler Edgar, O'Malley steps in to save the day by offering to guide Duchess and her kittens to Paris.
This image depicts the heroic feline looking rather disgusted as he meets a drunk goose on the outskirts of Paris, an image found at about the 46:36 mark of the film.
This original, hand-painted production cel features an image of the cat measuring about 6.5" x 6.25" on 16 field acetate.
The cel is marked in its lower right corner with 27.
Making this piece even more special is the fact that it has been signed by Frank Thomas (1912 - 2004) and Ollie Johnston (1912 - 2008), who were directing animators for the feature.
This great piece is in Good condition, with some paint separation and cracking throughout the cat's body and a few pieces of missing paint.
