Pogo daily, June 29, 1962. I was particularly glad to pick this up because I remember that, at the age of seven or so, this may have been my first encounter with recursive humor/fourth-wall breaking. "A fellow named KELLY? Wait a minute..."

I am curious as to what the left marginal note pointing to the blue-pencilled word "Instant" in the upper left of the strip says. Have you taken a close look?

Hi Matthew, it says:
"Stat or reproduce sans serif new slug here" and points to the faint INSTANT.
