Description

This Greg Rucka series follows Cilla Black: cop by day, witch by night. In this origin flashback sequence, tween Cilla has just relived the execution of her ancestors. She doesn't take it well in this wordless montage of scenes from home and school. I love how each panel tells a whole story.

The additional image shows a photo from before the black border was added. Not sure why it looks purple.

I dig the emotion in each and every panel. They carry the flow and fury of storyboards. Congrats!

Scott's artwork brings awe! The tonal work adds a lot of emotions and degree of drama into these flashback scenes that are all supported by the base image of the house. Well worth the investment of two pages to tell the story.
