DescriptionI have been following Ben Sears for a bit now and finally pulled the trigger on getting on his commission list. I have always enjoyed his unique artistic take as it isn’t typical to what I usually gravitate to. When I saw a recent commission he did on Popeye using his art style, I just had to see what he would do with these other comic strip characters.Social/Sharing |

Interesting interpretation of the characters. I get the sense that Chuck and Snoopy are about to get a beat down. I am not sure I like a world in which Calvin is a bully(other than to Susie...yet that is still not OK) but from an artisic point of view, it certainly challenges our preconcieved impressions of the duos.

Nice crossover by Sears. Good thing Chuck and Snoopy have Met Life insurance. Get Met, It Pays.
