Description

It's not often something falls through the cracks at Heritage nowadays.

Advertised as an 80s tryout page, this was actually a Nova inventory story that Alan Kupperberg drew during his stint as the regular Invaders artist in late 1978. He discussed the work in several old interviews, including this one:

Nova was canceled in early 1979, so it was never used. But Marvel, never shy to recycle existing material, had the Nova figure redrawn as Iron Man and it was then published as a fill-in story for Iron Man 157 (see pictures).

The story was actually supposed to take place on the original Nova Prime spaceship.
