Description

I wondered how a Savage Land Rogue might turn out should Filipe Andrade take one on, his style is very distinctive and unique, and his eye for executing a piece (the posing, the background choices) is impeccably good. The ink work and depth he's able to create from it is amazing to behold, the shadowing on Rogue, the reflection in the water, the texture of the foliage, it's all a joy to see. The scan here is not as good as I'd like and it definitely doesn't do this piece it's full justice (Felix got a much cleaner scan posted on social media, but I couldn't find the right settings to match it), but hopefully it's good enough to convey how good this piece really is. This one was definitely worth the wait.

Awesome use of shadow, and this might be one of the few renditions of Savage Land Rogue that feels dirty and grimy. Congrats!

Wonderful that she is shaded more to reflect that she has been hardened by the environment to be more dangerous than ever. It maintains the beauty of nature with the curvature of linework throughout the setting and for Rogue.

Digging the unique stylization, with all that hatch-y line rendering! And it's also almost as if she's emergering from the jungle...love that. Congrats, Alan!
