DescriptionThe Hellblazer page that clicked. Approx. 12 years +/- in the making.First of the Fallen plus John Constantine with a grin (he spends most of the time bleeding or crying in issue # 83). Issue #66 was my brutal introduction to this series, this writer/artist team, to Vertigo and to mature comics. Getting all Hellblazer back-issues in a pre-ebay time (in decent condition) wasn't an easy task;-) ... glad to finally add an original Steve Dillon/Garth Ennis Hellblazer page from the Rake at the gates of hell finale to my collection. Cheers to the Dillon family and the Panel Gallery. Social/Sharing |

Great bit of writing and the Dillon work to support it with Constantine carefree having not much to lose after his cancer diagnosis. The smug look is perfect throughout the page.

Classic Constantine. Ennis roles out the reveal slowly so the reader catches on just as TFOTF does. Dillon pulls it all together.
GREAT PAGE !
