It would be republished the following year as a special insert in The New Teen Titans 27 and DC Comics Presents 53 as a prequel to the ongoing series that would start the following year. Some nice solid work by Mr. Andru. Good facial expressions in that third panel.

I have another page from this story and the frog-like appearance is the original. The more monstrous appearance was added later. I have the overlay of the more monstrous appearance (check my gallery), while yours appear to have fallen off, based on the glue residue visible.

How and why an earlier version of the page was published later, I don't know.
