DescriptionBattle of the Ages - Superman vs Magog, from the original Kingdom Come timeline. Hard to get good KC pages anymore, and a Magog vs Big Blue page is a quintessential example.Has a couple of good panels of Kingdom Come Superman. One of the few times you'll see a KC Superman get his bell rung. A shot out to my kind friend Annu, who helped make this acquisition possible. Social/Sharing |

Now that's a fast paced action page with no let up! Can't keep track of how DC used Kingdom Come characters in their main titles, but they were at one point considered the end point of where DC was headed because of their popularity. That next to last panel with the splatter effect and the silhouettes is pure energy!

I thought this page stuck out because it is where Magog beats the bejeebers out of Superman. Do you happen to know of another?
Have a wonderful summer, my CAF brother!

In the years after Kingdom Come, any legit appearances involved either Mark Waid or Alex Ross involvement. Ross' issues are very few. This issue had a Ross cover and had him as a writer. This Dale Eaglesham art is very rare for the reason you cited.
