DescriptionI have no idea what the Dark Multiverse is but I loved this one-shot by Orlando and Perkins. If they sold a book with this team on a monthly basis, I'd 100% be onboard.I'm not a huge fan of DC's taste for wanton destruction and dozens of deaths in their multiverse stories. But, if you're going to have all that mess, Mike Perkins certainly makes it look amazing. And, he nails the quiet moments too. This page is a pivotal one in the book and Mike really sells it. I missed this page when Ruben listed the whole issue on Comic Book Art Gallery. Luckily, I was able to grab it from Sharon Snyder on her May Amateur Dueling Dealers appearance. Social/Sharing |

Great looking page! I dig the shock & awe in the last panel.

Christopher, you may not be a huge fan of DC's taste for wanton destruction and dozens of deaths in their dark multiverse stories, but that's the entire purpose of telling Tales of the Dark Multiverse. It's a parallel world where most of the things that happen are, well, DARK!
This was such a great moment, which I think had to have caught all readers by surprise. Because even though you expect dark things to happen, you kind of expect it to be relegated to the death and destruction you're already seeing throughout the story. I never would have expected Green Lantern to literally sell out the entire universe, in exchange for Surtur sparing the earth from Ragnarok. That was so crazy! Clearly, that's what those heroes in the final panel are also thinking. Great page, I'm glad you took advantage of a 2nd opportunity to get it.

I used to own this, the one before and after. I didn't want to split them up, but if I did, this is the one I wanted to keep! Love your taste! Glad it went to a good home.

Johnny - so sorry you had to split them up. I can only imagine how amazing they looked together.

Great page! I had to grab a couple from this book as well. Love seeing the JSA/Infinity Inc. Earth 2 characters. And glad that with the exception of Green Lantern, they all maintained their moral integrity : )
