Description

Jay had this page at a show a few years ago that he'd been holding onto. I was picking up another couple of pieces of art from him and he showed it to me. We talked about it and he was gracious enough to allow me to be its caretaker. He actually smudged the ink to get the fog-like brimstone cloud effect.

This is where Kurt discovers the Predator X beasts that were engineered by the Marauders (not the new Krakoa-related ones; the anti-mutant group) specifically to erradicate mutants, and they are being delivered to the new mutant island state of Utopia!

Killer Nightcrawler piece, DJ, AGAIN! I don't see any price though. What if I once again offered to send you that check I already had written out to you for $999,999.99? Are you ready to ship it?

Outstanding Nightcrawler piece! Good thing he didn't Bamf! into the cage! His brimstone is a nice contrast to the grids of cage bars and the arched hangar ceiling above.

Great page. I really enjoyed this arc. Kurt on the reconnaissance mission spotting the predator x Scalphunter was delivering via plane...alerting Cyke to optic blast!

All about the rendering of the teleporting brimstone - sublime effect by Land, and perfect that Kurt's face is shadowed in in that middle panel. Congrats!
