Sensible help by Neal Adams and others from the Custy Bunkers gang makes it all gel together. Look at the fantastic interaction between darkness, light and smoke... It's not done with mirrors! You can tell the Bunkers went all out in this with the effects normally used for black and white magazines. This is a cut above!

Thanks Marcus! I agree this is generally more suited for black and white magazines and it came as a real surprise to me when I saw this page first time. All for the better, I'd say...

Wow! Wow! Wow! Stunning page by Frank Brunner and Neal Adams! So much to love on this page! That top left panel is absolutely stunning! And the final panel featuring Baron Mordo is incredibly dramatic! Congrats on the pick-up!

Thanks! I guess they took a significant amount of time on the inks, refining layer after layer. Those were the days for experimentation...
