Description

My two hobbies in the early 90s..comics and Dungeons and Dragons. Stayed up many long sleepovers rolling the 20 sided dice. Dragonlance and Ravenloft were my favorite realms..so much so that I read a few novels. The former knight of Solamnia, Lord Soth who eventually became a death knight was one of my favorite characters.

Fast forward to early 2022. I've been following Richard's work (tentanclesandteeth) and really loved his art style on Magic the Gathering art. Reached out to him for a Lord Soth commission in January 2022and he did not disappoint.

That is one impressive rendering of Lord Soth!! And a great artistic way to pay tribute to your two hobbies from the early '90s.

I almost put in my comment that I tried D&D once when I was a kid, really liked it, but I was at my friend's house way too late and caught hell from my folks. That kind of put the kibosh on a repeat occurrence. Too bad, cuz I love fantasy and I love rolling dice!

I haven't heard that name in 30 plus years! I played D & D in the 80's with my brother and cousin constantly. Lord Soth was my favorite character BY FAR!!! Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories :) Great rendition
