Description

Gonna go backwards in time with Love and Rockets. I came to this waaaaayyyy too late but it's never too late. Jaime Hernandez may be the greatest living cartoonist. Love the interactions in this page with Reno being protective of Maggie and downing on Frogmouth all while breaking into Sid's place. Really grew to like Reno through this volume on.

Just fantastic expressions and poses on the characters throughout. World class cartooning. More to come!

Masterful cartooning in every panel and I'm not going to argue with your assessment of Jaime as our greatest living cartoonist. You know where I stand!

Good point on Reno - such an underrated character throughout the series.

Thanks for motivating me to dive in! You see most of the characters getting so well fleshed out. As a reader you believe there's so much more happening that you don't see. Incredible world and character building.

Run don't walk, Victor. Cannot recommend Jaime's material enough. There's enough flashbacks that you can really start anywhere as far as the Locas stories.

Cartooning is top notch as everyone points out, but it's really daring that Hernandez shows more realistic proportioned women.

I read all the omnibuses last year to justify chasing this beautiful artwork. I've also got an eye for the Frogmouth!
