Description

Done for the auction at HeroesCon 40th Anniversary. The art features some favorite characters from his various works, including Morpheus from �Sandman�, Tristan, Yvaine and her sisters from �Stardust�, the Bluebery Girl from the same named book, and Little Red Riding Hood, the Frog Prince and a giant from �Instructions�.

My understanding is this is the first time Vess has drawn these characters together.

Measures roughly 22�x29� on paper.

Nice pick up. I looked at this one for a long time at the auction and I am glad it ended up with you. I don't think the image does the scale of this piece justice, it is big.

Congratulations on a truly exquisite illustration! I love how the circular layout leads the viewer's eye from one character to another and the finely detailed pencil rendering is spectacular!
