Must stare at this longer to figure out how he was able to create the powerful illustrative effect. Duo tone board or horiontal linework? It plays so well against the brightness on where it remains untouched.

Hadn't seen illustration pieces like this from Krigstein before. Love how he grouped the figures, with their gaits and postsures conveying the arduous slog they're on. Interesting how he indicated the folliage and atmospherics as well. Thanks for posting!
