DescriptionWell that presidency didn't last long! Dazzler is cooked, Multiple Man is less multiple, and crowds of mutants are left stunned. This double page spread is a real show stopper.Social/Sharing |

Terrific pick up(s!) from Heroes, Gerry, and to piece together a consectuive four-page run in one fell swoop is slam dunk fantastic! Congrats!
The impeccable Immonen storytelling is on full display on these spreads, too, with the previous one (pps 6-7) adopting a playful layout, engaging and full of jubilance, with fun and bouncy panels throughout. This one turns on a dime, though, and adopts a detached, almost documentarian tone in the wake of the horror of the assination of President Dazzler; the large, splash image, the rapid fire of jumbled images on that top tier in the ensuing confusion, then the straight-line, linear, sequential unfolding of events on the bottom tier, floated over the solid black panel beneath them... Really great comics narrative work by this duo of masters. Congrats again, Gerry! Awesome stuff!

GORGEOUS inking here, too (worthy of its own mention!), by the ever astonishing Wade von Grawbadger. I bet this one is a real scorcher in person! Congrats once more, Gerry!

Great looking X page, nice find. The top left panel is outstanding. Love the inking and detail work.
