Description

Wally Wood did two weekly 'Sunday page format' adult strips for the military's Overseas Weekly tabloid in the early 70s: Sally Forth and CANNON. ON this page, already a year into the strip [1972] Wood layouts and pencils are abetted by other hands in the Wood studio at the time, possibly including Nicola Cuti and/or Larry Hama, and definitely Alan Kupperberg, who drew the Volkswagen Bug that has his name on the license plate, But Wood makes it all his own, as usual, with his inking finishes; image area 17 x 23.5
