Meancingly good! GCPD in the sweres is not a smart move a la Dark Knight Rises. Batman in the big panel looks like Venom with the cape! Good thing Sale puts in the pipes for more light reflection so more of Batman can remain in the shadow.

In my opinion – short of including Joker or Two Face – this is a perfect Tim Sale panel page. Great storytelling. Tactical Gordon. Looming Batman. Moody sewer.
And all those gorgeous blacks. That last panel is great.

Awesome Tim Sale page! Loved his work so much on Long Halloween, Dark VIctory, and all the rest. Nice that we still can collect his work to remember him.
