A classic Alan Moore tale of "ripperology" and social commentary that applies even to this day. While characters are compelling, the theme of the series is the society that created this environment that allowed the killer to thrive. Campbell's art uses the illustrative feel of those times and delved into the poor and unseemly underbelly of society.
