Description

9x14" pen and ink and watercolor original art of DC Comics heroine Black Canary kneeling at chopping block, her hands tied together w/rope and her clothes ragged and torn; one breast is fully exposed and she reacts in horror as swarthy executioner raises axe to chop off her hands. This is based on EC Comics Tales From The Crypt #31 cover by Jack Davis. Art has been boldly signed at lower right by Chan, who added a 1977 date.
