Description11x14" artboard has mixed media original art specialty pin-up image featuring Joseph Michael Linsner's famed heroine Dawn facing away from viewer but looking back over her shoulder. Her dress is quite short, revealing her bare bottom. Dawn's ever-present three tears are seen under her left eye, her right eye obscured as usual. Her stockings feature repeated skull images. Large image of her lover Death appears in background, his horned profile making a nice composition. First appearing in Dec., 1989, Dawn is written for comic books as the goddess of birth and re-birth. Linsner has signed at lower right of art, adding "©2001" date. Stunning art and a great "cheeky" example of Linsner's "Good Girl" art.Social/Sharing |
