Description

Tony Harris is known for his artwork on a lot of titles but not really GI Joe. He did draw 4 covers for the Devil's Due GI Joe Frontline series and I really wanted something GI Joe from him. I went through a lot of ideas that didn't seem to click. Then I thought about Tony Harris being a fan of horror and monster stories and I decided on Serpentor! Tony brought the dramatic lighting and intensity that Serpentor deserves and the details are impressive! So glad I decided to get on Tony's Not at SDCC 2022 at home commission list!

GI Joe did have a presence at SDCC this year and seeing this would have made me think it was used for the exclusive toys or shirts at the show. Impressive work by to bring various shading for a color effect.
