These covers from the Ultimate line in the early stages married linework with computer backgrounds and may look pretty bare, but their significance in making the Ultimate Comics line successful makes up for it. This is a very memorable cover from the run!

Lovely image by Stuart from this underrated run, although I'm kind of surprised that Johnny's not smiling here - he looks like he'd be enjoying himself. :) I really love the background "plate", with that fantastic, detailed cityscape for Johnny to fly through. Stuart does such incredible work. Great cover grab, TJ!
