Description

I was tuning into a livestream art sale by Clan McDonald at Phoenix Fan Fusion. They were visiting with Scott Kolins. They had just finished showing off some of Scott�s art when they came to the some blank covers. While flipping through them, the host, Steve McDonald, came across an Action Comics #1000 blank cover. Knowing I was watching, he said �man you know what would look cool on the Action 1000 black? Lex Luthor�. Now normally I don�t go for this bait (he does this quite often) but then Scott himself expressed interest in tackling an armored Lex. His excitement towards doing the commission sealed the deal for me. I�m quite happy with the result.

With the beating of ink brush and marker this comic endured to achieve such a fully detailed work, it's a miracle that it wasn't bumped down in grade more.
