Description

This illustration is a "Basilisk" done by Gervasio Gallardo for the Time Life series, "The Enchanted World." This creature is from Book 8 (Magical Beasts). If anyone knows the whereabouts of the Peryton illustration I'd appreciate the heads up.

There's so much detail in the piece that you can feel the contrast of textures in your mind! Fascinating to make them look so real!
