DescriptionFrom the Dreaming story titled November Eve where Cain and Abel take turns telling tales to a group of teens on Halloween. An issue reminiscent of the Parliament of Rooks story from Sandman where they tell stories to Daniel.This page is from the framing part of the issue and has some great images of Cain by Paul Lee. I also like that it touches on some of the ongoing plot points during this part of the Dreaming series, Abel striking Cain and not facing retribution from the Mark and the House of Mystery’s rejection of Cain. A very cool page as we usually only got short glimpses into the one sided Cain and Abel's dynamic in the past. The Halloween costumes are cool too to set the right mood as this came out 10 days before Halloween 1998.
