I like this aesthetic, power-set, and the sort of explosive imagery an artist can bring to the page with the character. Vintage mid 90's Benes! He may have been tagged a bad girl artist early on, but that was because of the practice of having a bold in your face image on every page no matter what character. That usually meant juicy stuff with the ladies and some macho power fantasy for male characters. This one sizzles and pulsates in the right key to set the tone for the page!
