I'm always glad to get another cover from Tim. I have a few already (I have two Wolverine/Gambit covers and a Superman for all seasons cover)

I was hoping to chat with him about this and the other Cap White cover I got the next time I see him at a con, but too bad I will never get a chance.

The dry brush is definitely cool as Sale considers the flames and coloring that they would have to do for the lighting.

Stunnning cover to Captain America: White #1 by Tiim Sale! I've always loved Tim Sale's art. There's a simplicity to it that that I find very appealing. Tim's work never had more detail than it absolutely needed. He always worked at simplifying rather than complicating. It's funny because I also love artists like George Perez and Bernie Wirghtson who are more like maximalists. They were always putting more detail into scenes to give readers the illusion of realism. Can an art collector love both kinds of artists? I sure hope so, because I do.
