DescriptionWonderful early Mickey Mouse Daily by the one and only, Floyd Gottfredson. This comes from the 26th (one of my absolute favorites) Mickey Mouse continuity (YM 026) « Editor-in-Grief » and features Mickey & Goofy (still with his charming vintage look, vest-only)…possibly one of my all-time favorite gags in a Mickey comic, with Mickey switching to a German accent to pass off as a « waiter » showing the security guard the partial elevator (« Vator ») sign…hilarious!!!First published March 19th 1935… I’m always looking for more Gottfredson / Mickey Mouse daily art from the 1930’s through the 1950’s, so if you have any you’d like to sell (or just to chat about - it’s always great to talk art), please don’t hesitate to contact me… Social/Sharing |

Delightfully brought Mickey to a wider audience! Appearing in this fine a fashion on a regular basis endeared him to the public.

does is seert guyt! ;-) Hilarious daily, really lovely, congratulations! :-) But somehow having feeling that having so many historical Gottfredson's dailies might press you (too many is too much!), why not releasing few of them? ;-)
