Description

This page is from the prologue to "Season of Mists" signed/written by Neil Gaiman and drawn by Mike Dringenberg back in 1990.

Destiny calls his family together for a formal dinner, and he asks them to dress up for the occasion. He wants Dream to reconsider his punishment of his ex-girlfriend (Nada) and his banishment of her to Hell for eternity.
This page has Desire needling Dream about Nada...and Death threatens Desire to keep her quiet.

I am lucky to have a page with Dream, Death, and Desire all on it.

How do I love this page? Let me count the ways. First, I love all the high melodrama on this page and all the expectations of grand conflict the reader thinks is being set up here. Second, I love how Dringenberg and Jones make Desire look like a Patrick Nagel drawing. Third, I love finding out that dressing up in formal attire makes Death grumpy. Cheers
