Description

Nova and Nick Fury! A new Nova splash from one of the rare British monthly books (which were normally published on a weekly schedule).

From the reprint of Nova # 16. Inset panel is taken from page 14 of that issue, but not a stat.

Pencils by Howard Bender and inks by Pablo Marcos.

Published in 1978. This is one of the last of British Marvel's new full page splashes, as they transitioned to new "recap" pages when Dez Skinn took over as EIC of the line.

This is worth more than a "like" for the excellent Nova image alone! Great pick-up Jason!

It's wonderful how the Marvel 70's Infantino/Palmer look and style of presentation is emulated here in a splash. The creativity Bender used here is basically coming up with a new cover for the story.
