A glorious expression of joy! It's made to look like the pinnacle of human achievement with how glamorous rollerskating is presented. To be in synchronization with another for this dance on skates shows the movie will have a fairytale romance and the hottest moves at the rink. Painting those spotlights is really cool and makes the image beam with brighter to make Linda Blair a sex symbol of the late 70's.
