Jerry Grandenetti is principally known as a DC war comics artist such as in All-American Men at War, G.I. Combat, Our Fighting Forces, and Star-Spangled War Stories, co-creating French Resistance fighter Mademoiselle Marie in the latter comic. He also did crime, mystery-suspense, science fiction, and Westerns and succeeded Neal Adams on The Spectre. He worked for Will Eisner and was a ghost artist on The Spirit (no pun intended). He drew stories for American Comics Group, Lev Gleason Publications, Prize Comics, Tower Comics, and Warren (Eerie and Creepy), and at least one Marvel issue.
