I heard of Andrea when Matteo Scalera mentioned him on an Essential Sequential livestream as someone's work he liked.

I think he was a late add to Annabel Kirby's NYCC lineup, but when I found out he was on his way, I made sure to get on his commission list.

I think he was a little intimidated by the request of artist's choice/pop culture, but when we settled on Chewbacca, I had faith he'd execute.

The result speaks for itself... an absolutely masterful rendition of Chewie and a great start to my next sketchbook.

A great painted work to kick off a new sketchbook! I think everyone can agree that this Chewbacca is highly iconic and beats all expectations!
