From 1976 through the rest of the 70's, Chan's color pieces thoroughly impressed with the highest quality artwork created just for fans during this era. This later piece shows even more nuance in the colors than the earlier ones.

Gorgeous in its nuances. This is well above average for a fan commission, absolutely beautiful whether you care for Buscema and Chan's version of the character or not.

Chan worked these magical commissions at SDCC and I also own two of them. Hercules and Conan. Both are spectacular and I love this one too. So reminiscent of the time of pre-SDCC craziness with just cool art and comics.
