DescriptionWhite Knight has been a turning point for me in terms of collecting. It got me collecting regularly again and it got me re-excited for original art. Sean's approach is loose and meticulous at the same time. This makes it feel organic and grounded. And, just a pure joy to collect. There are so many nuances, so many joyful swashes of ink, so much technique and craft, and so many delicate lines to soak in.This entire series is about Harley and Jack/Joker (and their love story). Batman and the rest of the crew are all secondary characters. Up until this point, I cared little about Harley or Joker. But this series changed that. In Sean's hands, both characters resonated. I love how this cover represents that. A large Harley and Joker. In love. While a tiny Batman and Gotham look on. And since this is a tragedy, caught in the middle are the casualties – Harley who tried to cure the love of her life, Jack, but failed. Social/Sharing |

Grats, Eric! This is hands down the best variant cover of the entire trilogy. When I started collecting SGM I saw this had recently been sold and I regretted not starting sooner. If it didn't end up with me, I am happy it ended up with you :)
