Description

Fawcett Artist: True Tales of Romance #4. "When Love Is Gone" (12-page Story, Fawcett, 1950). This pre-Code romance features Julia, who abandons her post at the Old Folks Home. A fire breaks out, no one is injured, but she is fired. This is a dark romance story. Page created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18".
Five pages from the same incomplete story were sold at the Nov 2022 Heritage Signature Auction.
