Description

FanExpo SF 2022, first page of a three page sequence I picked up. Browsing through the art in person it was all impactful to me, I see echoes of McKean and Sienkiewicz, with a part of Pratt.

Had a lovely conversation with Martin and the some of the Scott's crew, and assistance from my fav art picker with me, whose eye is better than mine, of all the pages the second and third both stood out to us.

Mixed media used adds to the effect in person that the scans don't do justice too. Simple scenes, done with skill, and the soviet vrs. US influence dialogue, with a Disney reference in the sequence was a draw too!
