DescriptionDefinitely a grail, I am over the moon to be able to add this to my collection! Deathbird is one of my favorite villains and the story captured on this page is epicat the end of a Savage Land storyline Lila Cheney teleports the X-Men to the Shi'ar, where they quickly become prisoners at the hand of Deathbird, who does the super villain introduction speech then tells them she wants them to kill Charles Xavier. End page reveal splash with Lee and Williams bad girl pin up work! Extra shiny and smooth for that early 90's look that they made popular in the mainstream! It's like the birth of the Image look embodied in one page.

Holy sh#t! Missed this upload. Talk about an eXciting masterclass shot in using a simple splash to teach the world why Deathbird was/is truly something to be feared. Congrats!

Wow! Was out with my nephew yesterday celebrating his birthday and totally missed this post. Congrats sweetie! An EPIC score for sure. Just a killer Lee splash and Scott's inks shine as usual (you need to get him to sign it). Really love how this page looks. Usually (if I had to choose one way or the other), I'm not a big fan of word balloons. But the placement here really adds to the overall aesthetics of the physical art. Not easy to get a prime example from his original Uncanny run. Especially one this nice. Enjoy it and congratulations again.
