Don Rosa The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck - Uncle Scrooge #292 Story Page 7 Original Art (Gladstone, 1993). Scrooge's quick thinking works as he leaps over all obstacles with his newly acquired moose towards his fortune! Meanwhile, back at the Blackjack Saloon, Soapy Slick strikes up a deal with one Goldie O'Gilt, to set up a loan-shark operation at her establishment. But look who's parked their moose at the saloon. As Scrooge heads for the gold fields, he seems to have already caught the attention of Goldie. "The King of the Klondike" (aka "The Argonaut of White Agony Creek") is the eighth installment of the original 12 chapters in the series The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck and was originally published in 1993 in Denmark by Egmont, then later reprinted in the US in Uncle Scrooge #292 (Gladstone, 1995). Created in ink and white paint over graphite on two sheets of Bristol board with a combined image area of approximately 12.25" x 17.5". Staple holes, production tape, whiteout correction/clean-up, and editorial notes along margins. Signed by Rosa in the lower right margin. In Excellent condition.
