DescriptionBart Sears Justice League Europe #14 Cover Preliminary Flash, Elongated Man, Power Girl Original Art (DC, 1990). In a cover reminiscent of a scene from the short film "Bambi vs. Godzilla", the JLE seem a bit outgunned. Along with the Flash, Power Girl, Elongated Man (and his eye stalks), we have Fire and Ice. In the late 1980's, the "Bwa-Ha-Ha" version of the Justice League was in full swing and started spinning off teams into their own books. Bart Sears was already a popular artist at this time, but it was still three years before Valiant's Turok, Dinosaur Hunter would propel him to the top of the charts. This cover prelim is pure graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Toned and with some handling wear, it is signed in the lower right. In Very Good condition.Social/Sharing |

Very cool gag from the days of Godzilla vs Bambi! The JLE being unaware of why they are in the shade plays into the humor of this iteration of the team..
