A great plate painting! Ross at his most inspirational painting the version of the JLA that was most influential to his youth. It captures the magic of these characters.

Wonderful piece. Always makes me a bit sad seeing Ross' JLA portraits, knowing that we'll most likely never get these classic, Silver Age comic versions on the big screen.

Fun Fact: Alex titled this piece "The League plots to overthrow Australia"*
