I LOVE John Cassaday art! And his Captain America is up there as one of the best Cap artists of all time! The sublime artwork of John Cassaday is well-displayed on this Captain America 75th Anniversary variant cover. Cassaday had a memorable run on Cap's title in the aftermath of 9-11 which brought a new dimension to the Sentinel of Liberty. This piece gives three views of Cap, each one conveying the character's noble nature.

I agree, Cassaday is one of the best to ever draw Cap. This cover is the essence of "iconic".

Pretty sneaky Cap. First he gives you the disapproving dad look. Then when you feel scolded and have head hanging low. He lifts the shield and you look way up. Then while you are looking up. He dives in low, taking you down and stealing your fish slippers.

John Cassaday's careful attention to detail and nuance of Cap's costumes is legendary! And having an example myself, it's amazing how clean and sharp his pages are! Congrats on getting this one, Nick!

Cassaday's put his stamp on Cap and pieces like this are why! 3 SUH-WEET and distinct images, melding for a killer composition. Gove love that detail on the chainmail, as well as that subtle pencil shading. And that lighting on the middle figure! So much to like. Congrats!
